About these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 42 Wall Private Limited (CIN U74999KA2020PTC131926), a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at A No. 184, K No. 2308, Vibuthipura, K R Puram, Bengaluru 560037 ("HomeHub", "we", "us", "our"). They apply to the HomeHub mobile application and related services (the "App").
This document is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and does not require a physical or digital signature. It is published as required by Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
What HomeHub does
HomeHub is a technology platform for home construction. Through the App you can:
- view your construction loan details shared by your lender, and follow a construction plan;
- upload location-verified photos and videos of construction progress for your lender to review;
- send disbursement requests for the next loan instalment to your lender;
- track construction expenses with contractors and suppliers (Spend Book);
- create a contractor profile and showcase projects;
- use calculators and cost estimators, browse floor plans and watch Knowledge Center videos; and
- submit enquiries for floor plans or home loans.
Banks and housing finance companies ("Lenders") use our BrickEZ web platform to review information you submit. Our relationship with Lenders is governed by separate agreements.
We are not your lender
HomeHub is not a bank, non-banking financial company, housing finance company or loan agent, and does not lend money, approve loans or release payments.
- Your loan is a contract between you and your Lender, and is governed by your loan agreement. Nothing in these Terms changes that agreement.
- Your Lender alone decides whether to accept your progress updates, approve or reject a disbursement request, and how much to release and when. We do not guarantee any approval, amount or timeline.
- Questions about your loan terms, interest, EMIs or disbursements should be directed to your Lender.
- Loan details shown in the App come from your Lender. If anything looks wrong, please contact your Lender. You may also tell us.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to use the App. If you use the App on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
Your account
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Please keep your phone and OTPs secure. Never share an OTP with anyone, including people claiming to be from HomeHub or your Lender.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@homehub.global if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Information you give us must be accurate, current and complete, and must belong to you or be provided with permission.
- Your account is personal and may not be sold, transferred or shared.
Progress uploads and disbursement requests
Progress photos, videos and disbursement requests may be relied on by your Lender to release loan money. When you submit them, you confirm that:
- photos and videos are genuine, recent and taken at the property linked to your loan, and have not been edited, staged, reused or manipulated;
- the construction stage you report is true and accurate; and
- all declarations you make in a disbursement request are true.
The App checks your device location and may reject uploads taken away from the property. Do not try to bypass these checks, for example by using location-spoofing apps.
Submitting false or misleading information to obtain a loan disbursement may breach your loan agreement and may be a criminal offence. We may suspend your account and report it to your Lender and, where required, to the authorities.
Your Lender may also show you its own terms or declarations when you make a request. Those are between you and your Lender.
Calculators, estimates and content
EMI calculators, cost estimators, unit converters, floor plans, Knowledge Center videos and other information in the App are provided for general guidance only. They are not financial, legal, engineering, architectural or construction advice. Actual costs, EMIs and approvals will vary. Please consult your Lender and qualified professionals before making decisions. Floor plans are indicative and must be reviewed by a qualified architect or engineer and approved by the relevant authorities before use.
Spend Book and contractor profiles
- Spend Book is a personal record-keeping tool. Entries are not verified by us and are not an invoice, receipt, or proof of payment. When you add a contractor or supplier, you confirm you have a legitimate reason to store their name and number.
- Contractor profiles are created and maintained by contractors. We do not verify, endorse or guarantee any contractor, their qualifications, licences or work. Any agreement you make with a contractor is solely between you and them.
